VOTE 1 INDEPENENT IN LYONS

JENNY BRANCH-ALLEN

I  am running as an Independent candidate for Lyons in the  upcoming State elections.

People have asked why do I want to stand public life?

I believe a strong, proven, and reliable voice must be brought back to the State Parliament table. People must be able to trust that their views and opinions are being represented. They need some-one who gets things done!

For too long, Governments do not listen, are rubber stamping too many things and not considering the wishes, wants and needs of the people they represent.

Living with COVID has been  presenting us with many challenges. People I listen to in Lyons are really feeling the pain of living, getting food on the table, paying bills and keeping a roof over their heads.

Government has a responsibility to act properly, responsively and sensitively in these circumstances. Government must be responsible with policies  and the services it provides the State.

If  Government must shoulder more debt and make cuts to operational expenses, so be it. Essential services to the State must come first.

I get things done. When people come to me for help, I am there. I have always been active across the State in the past and I will be again.

A an elected member I will lead the Lyons to a place where everyone feels included. As a starting point, bringing stability to the State, I have never seen so much incompetence and lack of leadership, Tasmania needs stability. We need to create a place where people are proud to live, work and play!
